Reading books , reward them , also there has to be a consequence for wrong behavior . Today our 8 year old lost his TV privileges for a week . But he also gets rewards for being good . There has to be praise for all the good things they do. You have to talk to your kids. You have to explain to them of what is acceptable in your household and what is not .
