Ingredients
2 cups boneless chicken pieces
2 tsp black peppercorns 2 tbsp Chinese cooking wine or gin or applejuice 2 tbsp soya sauce 2 tsp cornstarch – mix with 3-4 tbsp water 1 cup assorted capsicums – thinly sliced 2 tsp vinegar 1 tsp sugar 1 tbsp chilli sauce 1 tbsp spring onions cut diagonally salt to taste oil – for frying/cooking
Cooking Instructions
Dry roast peppercorns, cool , powder n keep aside. Marinate chicken pcs with soya sauce for atleast 30 mins. Drain chicken and reserve marinade. Heat oil and fry chicken till brown. Remove n keep aside. In the same oil, fry assorted capsicum for just a minute, add fried chicken and the reserved marinade, along with vinegar, sugar, chilli sauce , salt and pepper pd. Mix well. Add cornstarch and cook till gravy thickens. Add spring onions, give a quick stir and remove n serve hot!!!
