Mumbai, June 6 (IANS) Actor Karan Aanand has utilised his free time during the lockdown to make a short film at home, titled "Aaina".

"This is my first short film. We have shot this film in the pandemic and lockdown situation without breaking the rules and regulations of the government. The film is shot by us, and yet the actress and I did not even meet each other," Karan shared.

"Aaina" is about the fight of a couple during the lockdown, and the problems of daily wage workers.

"I would request everyone to watch the film and know of the importance of our daily wage workers," said Karan, who has worked in films such as "Gunday" and "Kick".

On Saturday, Karan also unveiled the film's poster, showcasing a girl lost in her thoughts.

The film also features Preeti Verma.
