Srinagar, July 25 (IANS) Security forces on Saturday busted a Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) terror group hideout in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district.
Police said that acting on specific intelligence input security forces including Police, Rashtriya Rifles (RR) and the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) launched a search operation in forest area of Chinphadi Machama (Tral) in the early hours of Saturday.
"During the search operation one sloping hideout of the JeM militants roughly 8-feet by 8-feet with height of approximately 5-feet was busted and subsequently destroyed.
"Incriminating material of the proscribed JeM outfit has been recovered from the destroyed hideout. The incriminating material has been taken into police custody for investigation purposes.
"An FIR has been lodged with the concerned police station", police said.
