Give credit where it is due !!!
I had read a story about a child being kidnapped. Police found the child, but there were two mothers claiming the child to be theirs. The issue reached the Court of law. It was a difficult decision for the judge to make. The judge ordered to cut the child into two and distribute to both the claimants. Immediately the real mother screamed and said don't cut the child, I want the child to live. Give the custody to other women. I feel nowadays many NGOs' thought process towards society is similar. Many NGOs are working on the principal that whether they get credit or not, society should be saved from the pandemic.

Leaders need a makeover (Comment)
The silence of impatient guns on the border and the sighs of the jobless is an ominous and nervous combination taking shape across the world. It's a wake up call that the polity is going wrong. Leaders across the world are falling short as country after country is being let down by them. Whether it's the health crisis, the growing social conflicts, economic crisis or border tensions, economies are in severe distress. The looming uncertainty and possible food insecurity must alert us of the serious situation. We are floundering in a vicious deprivation of ethics, lack of values or even a stable vision. If you look closely, the one common denominator that cuts across different cultures and politics is the quality of leaders.

Vikas Dubey saga: Reflecting on Lucknow's badmen in nicer times
The manner of Vikas Dubey's murder (encounter) would cause Joey the child in awe of Shane played by Alan Ladd to scream: "That's not fair -- I hate you." A kneejerk response to the Dubey saga would lead nowhere without picking up the thread of a perennially unjust system of which the police are the chosen cat's paw. It reflects on the rottenness of the system that the real puppeteers, who pull the strings, seek to heap the odium exclusively on the police.

Gandhiji's ideology an impediment to national security (Beyond Gandhi-II)
It is very clear that Gandhiji's contribution has brought immense dividends to India on the international stage. On the national platform, his model of social service and Swadeshi, his vision of Gram Swaraj that aims at making villages self-reliant and his idea of trusteeship, which inspires businessmen to contribute to the progress of the poorer sections of the society by apportioning a part of their personally-owned wealth for poverty elimination, have greatly inspired the nation. His method of Dalit assimilation is also nationally recognized.
